We began working with the Colorado State Fair in December 2020 and have renewed the contract in one-year terms. They are currently a client of AdPro. During the months leading up to the Fair, the Colorado State Fair shared 3-4 posts per week on Instagram and Facebook.

Marketing Approach

The Colorado State Fair social media accounts drove more ticket purchases than ever. Our team focused on striking the right balance in content across multiple platforms while taking advantage of current trends. We promoted user-generated content to improve brand credibility. To encourage early ticket sales last Spring, our team contacted Governor Polis to request his participation. Governor Polis filmed a video in a user-generated style to announce a flash ticket sale. For the 150th Anniversary of the Colorado State Fair, he announced that admission tickets would be sold for $1.50 each for 150 minutes. The promotion was wildly successful, with over $87,000 in revenue generated in less than 24 hours.
