The Objective
Pikes Peak United Way needed a vibrant, engaging, and inclusive marketing campaign to promote their Family Success Center’s upcoming “Community Block Party” in Colorado Springs. As part of Mayor Yemi’s “1,000 Neighborhood Gatherings” initiative, the event aimed to connect local families with essential community resources, food, and fun. AdPro was tasked with designing a cohesive, omnichannel campaign that would resonate with a diverse, bilingual neighborhood and drive high attendance.
Our Approach
AdPro took a highly visual and community-focused approach to the campaign. We developed a warm, energetic brand identity using a bold color palette of blue, orange, and red. To visually communicate “community,” we incorporated playful, geometric house motifs and inviting typography.
Understanding the demographics of the 1520 Verde Drive neighborhood, it was crucial that our messaging was accessible. We developed a comprehensive bilingual strategy, ensuring Spanish-speaking families felt equally welcomed and informed about vital resources like the $20 sports physicals and financial assistance programs.
The Deliverables
To ensure maximum reach across all touchpoints, AdPro executed a full-suite collateral rollout, including:
- Direct Mail Postcards: Bilingual dual-sided mailers targeted directly at local residents to ensure the invitation physically reached their homes.
- Print Marketing & Signage: Highly visible yard signs, bilingual outdoor display boards, and informational flyers distributed throughout the community.
- Social Media Campaign: Engaging, formatted posts and story mockups designed for Instagram and Facebook to drive digital engagement and sharing.
- Brand Awareness Collateral: Custom coasters/stickers highlighting core Pikes Peak United Way values (Trust, Love, Empowerment, Compassion) for continued brand reinforcement beyond the event.
- Digital Graphics: Display banners and localized digital ads to capture localized online traffic.
The Results
Through AdPro’s strategic design and precise localized targeting, the Community Block Party saw outstanding engagement. The cohesive visual identity established trust, while the bilingual approach broke down language barriers, directly contributing to a highly successful neighborhood gathering. By blending traditional print media with targeted digital outreach, AdPro successfully amplified Pikes Peak United Way’s mission of empowering families through community collaboration.
